Anything known about San Mateo, Satsuma area. Just curious for now.

Incant help ya on living up there but smack in the middle of some great fishing.

Not far from Welaka, known for it's green fish. Also get a red or two while pitching stuff for Bass. That area of the St Johns I'm referring to.

I have a place in Welaka and love it.
Great fishing here on the St. John's and oklawaha.
And all of the best crappie lakes are within a hour drive

Just saw this post. I like to stay at Georgia Boys fish camp, can fish St Johns or cresent ifin you want to ride bout 6 miles. Have had good luck around mud island.
