I was just wondering if any of y'all around Charlotte or Hickory used a Grayline Bait Tank. If so I would like to take a look at it and talk with you as I have some questions about them. I know everyone says go with a SBTII and that's the direction I'm leaning but I just wanna explore all my options and see a Grayline before I shell out this much money for a tank. Also if anyone is using a Xtreme Bait System I wouldn't mind looking at it either. Thanks for any input in advance.
I have a ron vest 40 gallon and love it. i think at one point they were similar. Ron's tank has a led light inside for night trips as well as finger pull itches on the lid, no more wing nuts to loose.

Yea, I really like the vest tanks, as that's what most of the people I fish with have. That's probably what tank I'm going to go with I was just wanting to see a Grayline run in person. I've seen them online just haven't been able to find many people with them so I could look at one.
Ron sold out a few years ago, and stayed on to do QC. I hope he's still there so the product quality will remain the same. I can put shad in the tank in the am and they'll be more active in the late Pm. just don't overload the tank
I'm pretty sure he's still there, at least that was the last thing that I had heard. What lakes do you normally striper fish scooper?
I'm thinking Rango and Pete has or had greyline tanks. I think the only difference is in the filter compartment.This question will Probally be like the dodge vs ford vs Chevy,,it wil be whatever the individual has it what he thinks is best. I have two of the Vest,super bait tankII,tanks,,bought my first one in 1998,, it was with me a couple weekends ago 265 miles from home on the Roanoke River.The second I bought used.The only thing that will wear out is the pump. My old tank still has the spray bar.A while back they were some being made,G&M bait tanks but I haven't heard anything on them lately.Whichever you get I'm sure will be a very good tank,but I'm thinking there's a reason you see more Vest tanks than any other. IF you can find a used Creekbank bait tank there a very good tank .He quit making them a few years back.
I mostly fish Wateree and some times Norman after its cold enough to keep the mega yachts at the dock.

I have used a 20 gal Grayline for about 10 years now. Before that I had a 40 gal Vest tank. Both are very good tanks. I normally get 5 dozen herring & have not had any problems keeping them alive all day. The 40 gal was just too big for my boat.
