Trolling

Have yall ever trolled with a boat paddle? Went today and paddled to troll for crappie and still cought 9 but wow that's a job and only could do it for about 30 minutes and it kicked my butt

One of my Dad's fishing buddies used to use a paddle to troll with back in the day, but he also arm wrestled a good bit. He said trolling with the boat paddle helped keep his arm in good shape for the arm wrestling competitions. He won a lot.

When Lake Russell was fairly new I'd scull my boat around/thru the trees fishing a single 10' rod sitting a minner beside every stickup. Caught alot of fish doing that and since the boat I had was small it really wasnt that much work. 'Course I was in my 30's then too.
