Line changing tip
Tired of the cheap store bought line strippers that never work right. I bought a set of hard plastic shot classes at WalMart. I drilled a hole bottom center of each one and bolted them together with a 1/4 by three bolt and a wing nut. Chucked it up in my drill.....very fast works great. To remove line from the tool.....just spin the wing nut off and pull the shot glasses apart....line will slip right off. Attachment 239835Attachment 239836Attachment 239837

I've do the same thing except I just used a screwdriver on my drill

That's an excellent idea, I'm logging that one in my memory book for sure.

I just drill into a small piece of wood and then get the line started. Can strip the line off in no time. Then just throw the wood and line In fire pit and chunk a match on it. Done deal

Been doing it for years. I just use a piece of wooden dowel, then chunk it in the garbage.
