Not me! I have enough foul-ups in the daytime when I can see.....let alone trying to do it in the dark!:Rofl
Lol, heck I probably need to. Got on the lake yesterday morning at 7am caught three.. got there this morning at 5:45am and caught 4. All before 7:30 - 8am, so we joked maybe we should have shown up at 3 am this morning may have got a dozen or so.. only thing after 8am biting is white bass where we was fishing.. so if you think you know your lakes good enough I say try it sometimes..
Several empty trailers at pats bluff last night around 8.30 while I was cleaning fish. Figured they were catfishing though.

Have tried it a few times with very little success, fun to be on the lake in a full moon tho.
Skeeters should not be to bad at all on open water. Getting back to ramp and loading up, might get ya swatting some though

Trotline are bad enough in daylight. Nighttime would be tough
Never tried cranking at night, but I bet those $30.00 apiece lighted cranks would work great. Lol
I don't have the cranking experience that many on here have, but I did try it at night once. It was much more difficult and I didn't do it for very long and I didn't catch anything. It also seems to me that the bite falls off to nearly nothing about the time the sun goes down but still not dark. I'd be curious to know if others have noticed that too.
Have never pulled Cranks at night, However, our favorite and most succesful fishing is at night. Brinkman makes a submersible light that attracts Shad. Just hang it off the side of the boat @ 2ft deep, rig up a couple minnows (tight line) usually 5-9ft deep and wait for the THUMP. We've had more luck on dark/cloudy nights. Warning tho, don't try this unless your ready to stay all night, It is extremely addictive.
