as the Summer pattern come on do you mostly still use minnows or is using just jigs good?

I use both and a combination of both. I like to start with a couple rods with straight minnows and a couple with straight jigs. Then run a couple with jigs tipped with minnows. Let them tell you what they want for the day. It can change daily in the summer when rigging.

Me personally, it's seldom that I leave the ramp without minnows. Even when I plan on strictly jig fishimg
I try to use jigs but the minners talk to me. And think about the bait people I help out.:biggrin And I like to keep Manny off my favorite brush piles.:cheers2
