Yes I have seen some of these materials as samples. I guess it depends on what you want to tie, but some of them I didn't care for it for what I want to tie. I have some sitting in front of my computer right now and plan on trying some of one kind they sent me, I just have not. I will look closer at it tomorrow when I get in there and also look at my Hardline catalog.
Let me add I doubt they would be selling it at 50% off if it was a hot selling product? It would also probably be better to send me this kind of thing in a PM as they don't need any additional advertising for free.

Actually sent that to you for the articulating bait they were showing the components for. Just thought that was kind of interesting.
That's the game changer, it's a great fly for larger fish like bass musky strippers. That thing looks alive in the water. It's bad ......

Oh they are interesting for sure, there are so many flies that just look awesome and many you can convert to a jig as well. This kind of fly will swim for you and the fish of course. Still not sure how I would convert that to a jig, but I could see a couple ways and maybe do one for trolling??

I was thinking spider rig, pushing along slowly and that thing swimming along or long line. Don't think I could ever get one tied though. Just thought it was a really interesting concept. I had seen pictures of some that articulated in 1 joint but nothing like this.
Yes several years ago they came out with what they call Articulated Fish Spine and that is what is needed to tie this pattern. I think the thing that kind of turned me off and why I didn't get some to try is all the pieces and parts that it's so easy to get into and spend a lot on these. I know Fish Skull came out with these and I just kind of looked over it because I really was trying to stay away from the Fish Skull items as I had already spent a ton on beads and other parts that I hardly ever use so I didn't want more parts. However I am now looking closer at this and I need more info so will probably end up calling someone to learn more.
The funny part about this is I had marked a couple colors of this kind of chenille to try last year and I just never got around to it. Maybe next order I will get some to play around with. I will let everyone know what I find out later. Right now I am looking for that sample they sent me off some chenille and I clearly ignored it long enough to now not know where it is in here, LOL!
I am thinking maybe this can work on a jig, but I have to know a lot more before I can say for sure. I am glad you posted this as it kind of forced me to look back through past years samples.
Longline is my kind of thing and just maybe this will do something, we shall see.
