:popcorngreat question...I'm all ears.
I use a gun lock, the kind were the cable goes thru the barrel so when I pull the pin on the hitch and swing it out of the way I put the cable thru and lock it.
Are you wanting to lock the swing away tongue or the coupler ?
Either one . Doesnt matter. Just so its locked.

I use a small diameter pin lock like this to keep latch from being lifted..
