Spring Bayou Report - 5-7-16*
Fished the lakes and the bayou heading to Vallery from daylight to noon. Jigs under cork in the lakes and tight line in the bayou/canal. We caught fish all day except for one lake. The size was terrible. What you see below is a mix of clear keepers and some marginals because I could never get a handle on what it took to catch the bigger fish. I'm guessing we landed over 40 easily. Some would have been great for an aquarium.
Boat traffic was awful. I don't see me going back on a weekend any time soon. Lots of running for the sake of running. My best spot got muddied up pretty quick.
On to Toledo Bend for stroller season.
