I put a hole in the bottom of my basstracker. Anybody know a good welder? I got a quote from one place in West Columbia for minimum of $250. I'm wanting to get a second opinion. Sorry about the pic being upside down. Thanks

Petes welding off of highway 378 towards the traffic circle has done some welding for me and they do a good job at a reasonable price. If you come out 378 when you get to the BP station where the 4 lane ends turn right and stay straight until you see them on the left. About a mile on the left. Just past trash dump the road curves to the right but you need to go straight.
Dang sounds like you want him to dent the truck by telling him to go straight on a curve. Hey big minner be careful :Rofl:highfive
Hey Dawgg that is the way the road is set up. It is the same road that the barbecue place is on that we ate at when Ray has his get together on Murray. The main road turns right going to the barbecue place but coming back you have to stop at the intersection if that makes any sense. The road going to the weld shop has the right away.
I have used S&S Welding on Nazareth Road just outside Lexington toward Red Bank. Matter of fact, the first time I went there was to get my Tracker welded. They actually are a pump and tank company but they have always stopped what they were doing long enough to fix me up and get me going. Had to get both fenders on my trailer welded back on.
Kenny Shumpert is who I'd ask for, one of the owners, but any of the guys are real good with aluminum welding. Biggest problem I've had is getting them to take anything for their work. Every time I ask I get, "Well, weren't hardly worth nothing, didn't take but a minute". I manage to get them to take $20 each time and felt like it should have been more.
Here is a link to their shop. Request Rejected
Don't know why the link says rejected. It worked when I clicked on it. If not just Google them.
Bring it over
I'll work on it for free
Never welded aluminum before
