some of the big name jig companies like bobby G do not sell a pre assembled box of say, generic or standard colors. Maybe they do and Ive just missed them.

:dono
A lot of them used to...but the assortments are not good sellers......Most folks would rather just buy individual packs of the colors they want.
It may not sell well, as finicky as we are about color. This was just a thought because today makes the second time this spring I have someone ask me to set them up a crappie box. Im not a pro crappie catcher by any means, so for someone to ask me to do it leads me to believe there is a need for it.
Southern pro does. Tubes in one set, curly tails in another. Think they have 4-5 different sets.
Arkie still has the assortments and kits in the WalMart stores.
Southern pro has a few that I know of, and Arkie
I SAY THE SAME THING ABOUT RIFLE AMMO, GUESS THEY HAD RATHER SELL 10 BOXES RATHER THAN GET YOU HOOKED ON A SHELL .
Guys....You put your soft plastic baits in a plastic box they will dry out and be useless in less than a year....keep them in zip lock bags and spray a shot of Pam in the bag every now and then, they will last forever. Get you a worm binder to keep your plastic bags in. Pick out your favorite colors or the ones you like best and make your own assortment. And you will not have a bunch of extra colors that you really do not care about.
That's a good idea with the Pam. I've been using the spinner bait binders the last few years. They are just big enough to hold a single pack and usually have 4 pockets on each page. I usually run 2 binders. One for muddy and one for clear water.
Back to the assortments.... I actually saw a box or curly tails. Arky I think. I was just tossing the question out, kinda wondering why other jig companies didn't put these out.
