I'm not an expert, but I hate to see your post just sitting here! The spawn will be done by then, usually, so fish will be starting to recover or move into a summer pattern. There are 4 'pay' ramps on the main lake and a few 'public access' spots that a johnboat could be launched. Here is a map with public access(not all public access is really usable for launching). The lake is divided into areas(beyond the bridge to the north of the dam, and the bridge to the east) where no skiing is allowed. This cuts down on pleasure boats because these areas are FULL of standing timber for fishermen.

I thought we would be a little late but can't do anything about it. Might just go to Truman headed there over July 4th for a few days thanks for the input!!
