Mill Creek resivior

Anyone fish this lake much? Does it have a place to stay near or on it? Any info would be helpful! Looking to get away for a week!

If you are talking about Mill Creek Reservoir, near Saline, LA, I don't think there is a place to stay on the lake. Even the closest hotel would be miles away. J_ROWE used to fish the lake some before he passed away. I think he had some brush tops sunk in the lake. On Google Earth it looks to be a very open lake with a few little arms off of it. I have no idea how deep it is. There is a nice boat ramp and parking lot there. I have never fished it myself. With all of the other lakes around here running over with all of the rain we have had, maybe I should give it a try.

After zooming in on Mill Creek Reservoir, on Google Earth, the lake was definitely down when that photo was taken. The arms off the main lake look to be filled with stumps and fallen tree trunks. I would assume with all of the water we have had this year the lake would be full again, but can't verify that assumption. It also looks as if, when the lake is full, the stumps in the arms of the lake would be under water, but I have no idea how far under the water's surface they would be.
