Lanier Report

Hit the water a little late on Sunday. Didn't get first line in the water until almost 8am. Caught them pretty steady all day. Pierre and I ended the day with 33 decent fish. Couple pushing 1.5lbs. I tightlined 8 fourteen ft. poles up front and Pierre with 6 ten ft poles out the back. Trolled at .2-.4mph in 10-15fow with fish being anywhere from 5-10ft down. Fished a mix of double and single minnow rigs and some with jigs tipped with a minnow. A few pics of an awesome day courtesy of lcookie.

Great report. Been wanting to fish Lanier just to fish somewhere different. Fished it last spring (late) and didn't do too well. One of the salesperson at BPS told me to start in 6 mile. Hopefully I can get up there after rotator cuff surgery this Friday. Maybe pull some crankbaits.

Good catch.I haven't been able to get on them at Lanier this year.Seems like when I have been to Lanier this year its been the wrong place.
