Okay fellas, I got a problem with my units. Got a gen 2 touch nine and seven linked together. I will be fishing and my sonar will just freeze up. Screen won't move and it will show depth as ---. Does it on downscan and 2d. If I wait long enough it will come back on. If I change the screen to full GPS and back most times will fix it. By the way the GPS never freezes and I am always running it on split screen. Thanks for any help

If you're running an HDI transducer on your unit reduce the ping speed in the sonar menu to anything but the max setting.

I've also heard the new 5.5 update has fixed his problem on some units.

mine acted sorta like that,was a bad transducer.mine would do it on 83hrtz only at first and then it started doing it on 200hrtz and 83hrtz.
