Fishing Report*
Dad doesn't get to fish as much as he used to and wanted to go the other day. I loaded him up and headed to a nearby lake for an afternoon of trolling.
We got to the lake around noon and quickly found some fish in 4 fow. I got the rods set up and put him up front. We had 2 poles baited when we caught the first fish. We were using Arkie Double Rigs with Arkie Minnow Teasers tipped with minnows. We spent the next 5 hours catching and sorting through fish. We caught some where around 40 fish and kept 25 as dad was out of fish in the freezer.
I enjoy fishing. I enjoy it a lot. With the places I've been so far this year and with the fish I have caught, that afternoon with dad has been far and above more fun and more memorable than any this year!! I'm glad he took time to take me when I was young so that I could return the favor now.

same here blackfish. dad brought me up fishing for smallmouths on the white river around Newport and around the black river out toward Newark. he died when I was 21 and I am now 66. miss him a bunch. take him as often as he wants to go AC!

That's a way to hold a FISH. If some posters had longer arms, they would be holding 3 and 4# fish.!!!!!!
