Overcup first timer
I'll have the day to fish tomorrow and plan on venturing somewhere new, I've thought about Dardanelle but Overcup is closer. Now, this may seem like a really stupid question, I know there's stumps there but how bad is it, Conway bad? I've got a bass tracker without a kick up plate and don't want to tear anything up. Also don't want to spend the whole day unhanging minnow rigs off the stumps. Some general info would be much appreciated

It is stumpy for sure, but there are good boat trails for you to get around the lake. I was collecting some water samples out there the other day and all of the fisherman said it was slow. I did see one boat spider rigging the deeper water in front of the dam and they had some nice ones. My father-in-law went to Dardanelle 2 days ago and said they caught a bunch of smaller fish 9-10 inchers. They were single pole fishing. All I know is that it will be a beautiful day tomorrow and fishing beats work any day. Let us know how you do. Good luck!

I fished there over a month ago. The lanes are marked fantastic. I spider rigged and ended up pulling jigs. Had a few hang ups. But, the rewards were worth it. Overcup will always be on my radar for fishing holes. Thanks Matt and AFGC. DP
