I'm heading out in the morning to do some long line trolling at Logan Martin. Anyone catching any? Water depth? How deep? What colors?
All the usual questions...
Oh and what is the water temperature :pray

Have not been for two weeks, but then they were in 8 to 10 feet of water just off their spawning areas. Bite was only good for first two hours then slowed way down. Black and chartreuse and popsicle worked for me. Thats how it went for two days about 10 days ago, not sure what they are doing now! Good luck! I put in at town and country and stayed right around there last two times I was out.
A week ago I went chasing green carp and the temp was 65 degrees. I would assume it is close to 70 now. I will try a couple of hours in the morning and see what happens.
Water temp was 73 this morning. All crappie caught before 9 am.
I caught 8 crappie trolling in 8 foot of water and 4 fishing brush piles in 10 feet of water. Biggest 2 were 11". The rest were 9" to 10".
Last fish of the day was a 2 lb 7 oz spotted bass caught on a 1.5" white curly tail grub.
It's tuff right now on most lakes. They just came of bed and there are fish everywhere but not a lot anywhere. The best lake for me in the last week was Neely Henry. Logan Martin has been off this year for some reason.

probably over fished.
Not hardly! There more crappie in Logan Martin that you can shake a stick at . The weather has had them off this year.

no way its over fished. When I'm fishing in Dec, Jan and Feb I rarely if ever see anyone but me long lining and only see a few folks fishing docks and structure.
Well, I was just saying guys. I've never been out there. I don't have a boat so .. I wouldn't know.
Not any left I caught the last ones yesterday. HA. HA.
