Say I was to take a job in Greenwood, MS and would be moving from Western Tn; what area would you recommend to search for housing? I would be open to a 30-45 minute commute, and would prefer a country setting with maybe 1-2acres. Also, I would like to stay to the NORTH OF Greenwood, as we still plan to come back "home" from time to time. Price range would be in the $200-$250k.

I know of very nice little place in that price range and time range as well, bout 5 minutes from Enid and 30 minutes from Grenada and Sardis.

It's a nice country home with a few acres as well, they actually rent it out for home Ole Miss Football games and make pretty good, think they have 3 or 4 couples.
Check out Carroll county off hwy 82. There's several nice country properties in the county. Hwy 82 is 4 lane and would be about 15 min to Greenwood. Also 15 min to Winona and interstate 55. Carroll county has one of the lowest tax rates in the state. It's a choice a lot of people have made. I'm not a realtor but any of them will know.
