Crazy day

was a typical Saturday . Stayed up to late, got up late , took 45 min . to find handheld gps . Arrived at state lake about 7:30 . Was only three boats on water . I wondered why there was a tent at the ramp . Turns out they were having a fishing rodeo ! I decided not to go to Sardis thinking there would be a ton of folks there . By 8:oo a.m . it looked like Walmart. Pops and granddads were fishing the main lake and mom was helping junior at the rodeo . All my sacred spots seemed to have neon signs lol .Caught a mess anyways .Attachment 236539

looks like a good trip there ....congrats ....
we stumbled on a little state park lake having a braggin rites tourney one time .......
never seen so many folks on a small water body before in my life ....
we loaded the ice chest up with red ears that day in the dead of winter totally by accident ....
and then we went after a few of the tournament "rainbow trout" they stocked as well
left with a bunch of fish and was asked as we left the lake why we wasnt in the tournament ......:Rofl
