Pattern smattern... things change.
Pattern smattern… things change.
You read what went down Tuesday, well that don’t mean a darnthing the next day. Jeff and I launchedbetween 10-11am, went to the back of the cove, I have my orange jig head, tipwith minnow, kill that minnow I pitched it and dipped it so many times. Put on a fresh minnow, killed it… nofish. Jeff is pitching a jig 20.34”under a clip on bobber, it gets smashed again and again…. I add bobber and jigbody… and another minnow to kill. We endthe day with a double limit and some nice fish in those limits. Didn’t pitch the bank more than five or eighttimes… maybe nine, most fish found out in 3-5’ of water fishing 20.34” up to14.004” under the bobber…. Twitch and rest…. Drag and rest…. Twich and rest…. And get bit… or nibbled…. Some hard hits most just twitched.
Today, rigged back of the cove I’ve been in all week. Wind blew about mid morning, fish followedthe same as yesterday, scattered throughout the cove, not really close tocover, but you did catch some tight. Whenthey hit they smashed it typically, some tried to sneak off with it. 25 fish between Bob and I. On the water at 6:30 and off at 1:30 to getto the office.
That'll probably be my last fishing day until camp.
