Best day I ever had on Grenada was a early may day(THERE WERE MANY GREAT DAYS) . Put in at Choctaw and never saw a boat at Choctaw or South greysport . Second cove to left headed toward grey's port bridge yielded 52 of the biggest crappie till this day we ever caught (brother). Everyone said it was a waste to go .It's over and done with I recall . The majority may have done their thing but somewhere they are stacked up like firewood .Saw one boat all day ! left about 2:00 p.m.
Have to agree, got to go fish for them. Lot of water here, I mean a lot, if you can stand the snakes there are plenty of green bushes in waste deep water and the fish will be in them till the water falls out of them.
I am 50/50 on the snakes lol. I was there Easter and we done fair the water was around 215 I seen where it was around 217 so I really wasn't for sure. We fished Skuna I believe.
More like 218.5, rat shot is good for snakes!!!!!:biggrin
Lakeway is updating Facebook daily with folks wading displaying huge stringers. They may be old pics but I doubt it.
