Replacement is the best option ...
Splicing can be accomplished for a repair above the water line ... But the likelihood of the splice being perfect enough to not allow RFI in can be very challenging ...

I called today and got a busy signal on 1 800 number go figure. I will try them Monday. But yeah I will make them tell me NO nicely. Hey podunk why havent you designed a way to prevent this. and I'm one of them I was trying out a new to me I-pilot and had the anchor on a gust of wind and it turned ALMOST all the way around to put me back on spot, no worry my ducer was on a "Da-Ducer" devise also you don't get the blurry screen when turning with the trolling motorQuote:
