Rainy days
I've been determined this year to fish as much as I can no matter the weather conditions, wish I had taken more pictures but the last few days have been good to me raining or not, water temp has stayed within a degree of each day and Nearly every fish was caught when I hit the magic 11.7fow. As usual the GF is still beating me on big fish....we caught a ton of shorts today all 8-9" that were black as could be.http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...7c24b15650.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...d32eeee9cf.jpg

It looks like you're winning to me. WTG

Lots of wind and rain this year, nice catch.

I think you found you a keeper, if she will fish with you come run or shine, I would make sure she always won. Wouldn't trade my wife for nothing, but she don't like to fish and sometimes I wish she did. Good Job.

The weather has been something I have contended with all spring. Wind has been the issue for me. Glad you got on some fish and that you have someone to share it with. Congratulations.

Fish bite good with rain fronts and they don't mind getting wet unlike the fishermen . :Rofl I always say rain don't bother fish as they are already wet . :biggrin She is probably a keeper if she will fish with you in the rain .:twocents

You're doing good. Enjoy what you catch and don't worry about those still in the lake. You can get those later. We are definitely ready for some pretty weather fishing. Tired of the wind and rain, or both at the same time.

The wind has been quite frustrating so far, especially learning to slow troll. You can see my drift socks laying in the boat, finally got them in today and they sure helped, was able to keep the boat around .2-.3mph today on the main lake and caught a few off some stake buckets I sunk
