Lake Blackshear Info
Thinking about hitting blackshear this week for some crappie, anybody got some advise? I've only fished it a couple times several years ago once at night on a friends boat and once during a short getaway with wife and son, neither of which fish. I normally fish westpoint or oconee shooting docks this time of the year but not lately. I would really like to start fishing blackshear, it is a lot closer. Not asking for your honey hole just best place to put in and areas to avoid. And yah if you want to give up that honey hole location I want tell. Thanks in advance for a response.

Good reports are coming in from all over the lake. We have been fighting high, muddy water for awhile but that is getting much better. We have also been fighting double digit winds for awhile, but that is also getting better! The most productive patterns at the moment seems to be cypress trees in 3-5 foot of water or docks.

Brad thanks for the info. Looks like it will be next week before I get a chance to go, work. Hope the weather holds off. I'm sure I'll hit a few docks. Thanks again.
