Has anyone had any luck at Milford? A buddy and I were thinking of night fishing there tonight. I know the lake well and places that traditionally have crappie but just hadn't heard any reports. We may try for whites also if we have no luck with crappie.
Sorry no reports here Wes, but if you go....Good Luck. I have a friend just headed to Glen Elder, and wondered how the crappie are doing there.
I haven't been up to Glen elder yet this year. I would try deep brush close to spawning areas. Brush along the south shore close to schoen cove and meall cove come to mind. I know they have been catching walleye along the river channel in the west part of the lake but east of the causeway bridge. Focus on the south side of the channel 15-20ft... There are some breaks in elevation in there. Jig and worm and slow drifting bottom bouncers with walleye spinners seem to work well there. Normally between the causeway and Gibbs point.

I may be there Friday or Sunday. I ended up having to work Saturday. I fished there this morn with no luck. I will email you when I know for sure.
