Mobile delta report
:dono Far as I know the whole place is high and muddy. I went to Bayou Sara this morning looking for decent water. Not bad color but was high, mixed flood tide with the rise coming down I guess. Water was running through the marsh at the head of Little Catfish. Slow trolled around the sunk barges and deep bends up Bayou Sara with minners and jigs for about an hour and a half with no luck. Got out my fly rod with some crickets for a little while and caught 8 or 9 Brim, all released, before I drug up. Few boats slowed down to ask what I was doing and sounds like their morning was like mine. Slim Pickens.

I went Friday and trolled for about 3 hours, caught maybe 12 to 15 fish. All about 8.5 to 9 inches. This was near Cliffs and the water was in the swamp and it's now a foot higher than it was then. So again, maybe next week, but it will probably rain again north of here and it will be to do all over again. I'm going to get me some crickets tomorrow and try for bream hopefully on beds. Don't ask me where I'm going because I don't know the name of the creek. I just know that I can see downtown Mobile from the mouth of it. Caught them there before when the water was high so maybe I'll have some luck. This is all kinda getting depressing to be honest with you.
