Stopped by and visited with my friend for a few minutes yesterday. We were going to find a brush pile and look at it with 360 imaging. He said that he bet we could catch a fish even though fishing reports had not been all that good. We motored out and found a good pile and wallered all over it messing with the 360 and getting on and back off it several times just for the fun of it. I finally turned around and grabbed my wifes jig pole and handed Nimrod mine that had a couple wore out Nimrod specials on them.
In 15 minutes the score was Nimrod 3 (up to 1.5) and RCC 0. At that point he said:
"I've missed as many as I've put in that live well"
I replied "me too":Rofl
I had to minner up and still put no fish in the boat. I accused him of front ending ( we were sitting side by side). I said I was too busy running the trolling motor. (he offered to run it). I put him as much on the bad side of the pile as I could and me still reach it, and I still took a beating.
The way I'm telling this story is that "Nimrod came in next to last in amount of fish caught and I came in second." Second place prize was venison summer sausage and pepper jack cheese which we enjoyed immensely on our way home.
Thanks for the fun yesterday friend. It doesn't make any difference whether it is a few minutes or if we get to fish a day or two, fishing is always fun when you're in the boat.
I guess this fun started back several years ago when I got to share a boat with you for a day and a half. This resulted in the thread titled The crappie Ninja. My trips with the master have been both fun and educational. He just proved to me again, "I still cannot snatch the crappie from the bush" as good as the CNM.
