First attempt...
Still haven't got my vice or other tools yet, but got impatient to try to tie one! Lol
First time I've ever power painted a jig head, these are not cured in a over, just dipped!

And because I don't have my vice yet, I used the vice on my work bench! Lol
First try was with a single wrap of standard chenille. The second try (bottom) was with like three wraps of wooly bugger chenille!

Caint wait to get the rest of my stuff in! Any tips and advice is much appreciated!

If your going to powder paint I highly suggest curing them, I try a batch of about 2 dozen without curing them and hand the paint chip off every time it touched a rock the ones I've cured have gone strong and haven't had one chip yet. Either way good looking ties especially for not having an actual tying vise for them. One more suggestion is when you think you have wrapped the chenille far enough take it one more wrap and it'll help hide the thread.

You should be fine, but you will find a lot of tips in the sticky post at the top of this board.
Like this link... http://www.crappie.com/crappie/jig-t...m/49489-tying/
