I have been looking for a cable to link the 1199 and 999 Humminbird mine has the hour glass cable on both units. Does anyone make a cable that u don't have to put three cables together to make up this cable. Why change something if u don't have the proper cable for the new setup. As everybody knows the more connections u have the more problems you have. cub48

You will need an AS EC QDE adapter cable for each unit and an Ethernet cable long enough to reach ...

Thanks Rickie that's what I was thinking. I may wait a while, they may make come out with a new cable. I think it's nuts to put 3 cables together to make one. Look at all the connection problems it could cause. They are selling all the old stock before they put a new cable out. Thanks again Cub48
