Is it allowed to ask about another species? Wondering how people catch redears. That is what we call them. A bream-like fish. It's longer and not as round as a bluegill. They can grow pretty big! I have caught them on live worms. Seems I have heard of people using small crawfish. But wonder about artificials, too.

Use a 1/64 or 1/32oz black or brown jig with Crappie nibbles or Gewbers bought from crappie.com store
