Summer Trip

When I was a kid (I'm 40 now), my grandparents would take me to Bull Shoals every April for a fishing trip. We stayed in Lead hill/Diamond City area. Am hoping to take my own son down early June. Question - do any of you know much about Lighthouse Resort and Bull Shoals Lake Boat Dock? They have a package for 4 nights and 3 days boat rental that seems pretty good. I know the crappie fishing won't be as good in early June as it would be now, but that's how the schedule goes. Any other suggestions are welcome as well!! Looking at June 2-6 with 3 day boat rental.

Hey WannaGoFishing, Don't know how you feel about Trout fishing, but I would encourage you to get a hold of My buddy PAPA's Bill Phn 479-477-0334 Guide Service up there and take your son on a trip with him for one of your days. After your done fishing he will cook you a shoreline meal you won't forget, and you will both think you have a new Great Uncle in the Fam. He is Crappiepro approved and one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. Not to mention he knows that river like the back of his hand and I promise you will catch nice trout after nice trout.
