Toronto
Hit Manns cove early trolled out to our favorite bank using jigs. Casting jigs to bank nothing. Used long poles dipping trees in deeper water nothing, tried suspending jig under bobber nothing, worked a couple of banks that were in the sun water temp ranged from 57 to 59. caught a couple of small bass and one (1) female crappie. decided we would go try the river. While navigating out managed to bend my down scan ducer for my HDS bummer. so now have to get that fixed hell it is only money.
Put in the river moved downstream where we knew fish were caught Last Sunday not a bite nothing fished shallow deep just nothing. We had heard that someone had some luck at the new Yates Center lake. So we packed up and went over there will fish and game was burning the lake grounds smoke everwhere not very nice to breath. So that ended our Monday fishing trip. Got to get better I hope.

Hey Blackdog, sorry about your bad luck on the boat. Just wasn't the best weekend and we had some bad luck also(not fishing related) along with the slow fishing at eldorado.
But i would would rather be fishing around for anything with the nice weather even if they aren't cooperating!
I was wondering about the fishing at fall river and toronto. How are they for Crappie?(your opinion) Am planning on taking a trip in that direction this summer but really don't know anything about the lakes.
Thanks for the report!

Hope you find them next time Blackdog40

I just hate this time of year. Thanks for the report. Wonder if Munkers Creek need's to be fished? <*)}}}><

That is a thought with this wind. A friend of Chiefs has fished CG a couple times this year without any luck.

come on now never go from the lake to the river in that lake unless its flooded. use the rivr ramp
-
We did use the river ramp. Water needs to be up to get from lake to river.

yes sir. tore up many boats trying that in a hurry
