Fishing at Talquin 4-1,2,3-16
Fishing was good at Talquin part of this weekend. Caught a limit Friday and Saturday pretty quick, but Sunday morning was slow. Had over 6 in. of rain Friday night. Boat was setting on dry ground when it started raining and Saturday morning lake was over full pool and still rising. Water was still clear Saturday. Sunday morning the water was over the dock at landing. The water had turned muddy in the river channel when I left at lunch time Sunday, but was still clear in some of the creeks. Still have a good # of fish that have'nt spawned yet. The fish I caught were in 12-15 fow. Happy fishing to everyone.
