Grenada Lake & Rainfall
Just throwing this out there as we are all thinking the same thing. 3 inches of rain in the last 24 hours, the weekend is almost here, the spawn is on but.......
1. How will this influx of water effect the location of the fish?
2. Fish the main lake shallows 3-4 fow?
3. Try working the mouth of coves and go into search mode?
Not looking for answers but I know I am not the only one going to be on the lake in the morning and we are all scratching our head for answers!

Main lake, if you have any info as to where they were start there just fishing however much deeper the water will be, say we have had a 3 foot rise by morning fish 3 foot deeper and work you way in to the shallows. Few weeks ago after all that flooding rain plenty of fish were caught.
Got all my rigs tied and waiting for the thunder to quit and hit the water hopefully in a little while.
Stay safe, remember we have a FJ and Spring Camp is Saturday, drop by if you get a chance!

Good post, Spadman! You asked all the right questions......just like you were reading my mind. Hopefully Rees will check back in and give us some more general info. I think it's gonna be tuff tomorrow though.

The spawn is almost over at Grenada at this point according to the filet knife.

hmmmm...I know everyone is fishing different areas and catching fish in different patterns and stages of the spawn gotta good friend that's been there for the last 5 days and they are catching big females still full of eggs so hopefully with this weather slowing it down it will still be on for a bit

I cleaned several fish Monday with grey eggs in them. Those are done. (ENID)
