I always just use one rod casting for crappie. The BG baits are what I usually use but thought about trying small spinnerbaits. Anyone ever have any luck with them?

I use silver and gold spinners on a white/marbou hand tied jig. I seem to catch more species of fish but when u need a bright and flashy presentation to trigger a bite on a slow day it does wonders. I uSE them on sunny days after rains when the water is muddy. Magic crappie baits are good. But u can Google (keywords) what ur looking for and find many custom bait websites if u want a pareticulated color. Some will offer free shipping too.
Ive never had any luck with a true spinner bait but I fish a Road Runner all the time.
I have caught quite a few on Beetle Spins-does that count ?
Walmart here in Florence is carrying them now by Mr Crappie, I threw one in a top the other day and nailed a fat female on the first cast! Then proceeded to hang the top and lose it the very next cast!! HA!
Just get some 90 degree arms and add to your jigs. Do it all the time. Works great for grass, beading fish to
User them all the time with a crappie nibble added. Will catch anything. Crappie love the little ones.
