Double Transducers on the transom question

[COLOR=rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.701961)]I have a Lowrance Elite 7 with down scan mounted near the console and have upgraded it to a Elite 7 TI Total Scan or side imaging. I was thinking about mounting the total scan transducer on the opposite side of the motor on the transom and run both units at the same time. I realize, I could/will get some interference but I could at least run navigation on my old unit instead of trashing it.....[/COLOR]
