Alright Crappie Fishermen ! What a Great Day the Lord Blessed us with this past Saturday at Falls Lake . Last Saturday at Jordan Lake it was close to 80 Degrees big fish being caught everywhere! This weekend at Falls the Sun was hidden behind the clouds . It was about 50 Degrees with the water cooling off a little bit through out the day from a cool North East Wind. The fish did bite in the morning but got a little tougher as the day went on. Like last week we had a 1st Time Winner of a Bigeyecrappieman Fishing Event. Jeff Dalton who is a member of our Outdoor Ministry Sunday School Connect Group Class at Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Durham and his fishing partner Glenn Sykes bested the Field of 15 Teams with 7 Fish weighing 9.390 lbs with a Big Fish of 1.740 lbs. They worked the water that was a little deeper than what most of the other teams were fishing to catch their Winning Fish. Congrats guys on a Great Victory ! 2nd place went to the Team of Rod King (the Bigeyecrappieman ) and his partner Randy Wilkins with 7 fish weighing 8.735 Lbs 3rd went to the Team of Chester and Aaron Eubanks with Crappiemaster Bruce Eubanks directing the Boat to 7 Fish weighing 8.690 lbs 4th Place was Chad Meeks and Selvin Snead with 7 Fish at 8.665 Lbs. 5th place was Last weeks Winner Alan Cox with 7 Fish at 8.355 lbs. The Big Fish of the Day was caught by the same team who caught the Big Fish Last week at Jordan the Team of Kenny Moody and Monty Justice and their Lucky Charm Kelsey Justice with a Big Fish weighing 1.750 lbs barely edging out the 1st place teams Big Fish by less than a ounce. The Bigeyecrappieman and his partner Randy Wilkins got to give back the 2nd Place money to a fellow Crappie Fishermen in the Bigeye Crappie Drawing as we share about how Christ died for us not giving to us what we deserve but giving us life . Not judging us on what we've done but what somebody else did for us. So Gary Chambers did not deserve to Win the 2nd place money but because of what somebody else did for him , he wins the prize. Christ did it for us ! It's Not by what we did but what Christ did! We win the Free Gift of Salvation because he took what was due us and placed it on himself. All we have to do is
reach out and except the free gift. Well next we go To Harris Lake . I will be taking Entries at Holleman Landing from 5:30 am till 6:45 am and please bring correct change $25 dollars. Until then tight lines and come chase the Bigeyecrappieman ! May God Bless you!
