Thanks to Boudreaux on "The Bayou Gardener" my garden survived the light frost this morning. He reminded me about how to keep them from frost burn. I got up at 4:30 am and gave them a light shower every 30 minutes. My corn, bush beans, pole beans, cucumbers, zucchini, and yellow squash had just all broke the surface in the past few days. Here are a few pictures for your enjoyment.

Very nice indeed. Enjoyed that. Bet those cucumbers won't make it - they can't stand this type of weather. You're trees look like mine, smell good don't they?
I had 6 more cucumbers pop out the ground today once the sun hit them. My pole beans and zucchini all popped up too. I am still waiting on the yelliw squash and okra.
Good going Don, you've a friend in Boo. I'm gonna see him next month at a little gathering in Eunice. I don't have anything to worry about with frost. All I have growing is onions, tomato plants are in the greenhouse and the okra won't get planted until at least next month once it really warms up. My snap beans will be planted in August for a fall crop. My citrus is loaded with flowers also, kinda makes you drunk to smell them so much and my fig trees are coming fine. A couple even have figs.
