I have fished this area 3 times in the last week and have yet to catch a crappie . I have caught several large stripe, drum, skip jack and a couple bass. I fished from the back of sugar creek all the way out and no crappie. Hope it improves soon. Anyone catching any out at the mouth of Elk River ?
When the water isn't low, the area off lentzville road has been decent for me before. Thats the Only spot I've fishe'd so far. I'm sure u can get the best info from the locals who hang out at the store in the mornings.
It's still sloooowww toward the mouth as well. Anderson creek is slow but should be hot right now
