I have the Southern Crappie and really like them. As far as the 2 you asked about I prefer the Capps pole, more backbone.
I talked to ED at southern crappie rods , great guy , he said that he may not have them in stock until sometime in april. I am not really wanting to wait that long . He said there was a mix up in shipping
