Is the sensitivity in the tip the same in the 143 and the 143t? Can you see light bites on the 143t spider riggin?
I answered this question on the 143T thread on the main page---Yes, we caught some 6 inch dinks last week that thumped the 143T just like the 123 next to it. I was using 5/8oz weights above a 1/8 oz jighead and there was very little bend at the tip of the 143T but the bites were detected just like the regulars.
Get you a set of Southern's and never look back. Ain't going to push anything with them C&C poles.
We hung up a couple of the southern rods yesterday in the high winds and with my to little trolling motor the tips where bent plum under the boat before we knew it and they held up. That Kevlar is tough!
There are lots of good rods out there. I just know BnM will STAY there.
