Flood stage is 99 feet and she's at 118.3, she's risen 1.8 feet. It is unreal. There is water where no one thought water would ever be. The new bridge is exactly 1 mile long. That's a lot of water for this lake folks. 12,909 acres of water just SPREAD OUT!!!

Makes me wonder if Salvia is being flushed out of choked lakes

Hopefully a lot will be flushed out and that which gets pushed ashore will get left there when the water recedes. I've seen some clearing of salvina before from flooding at Caddo....doesn't necessarily make the flood victims feel any better though, but I guess it's the 'silver lining'...
That is incredible and devastating at the same time. My heart goes out to all of the victims of the flooding. I know that bridge and those shores. Thanks for posting.
