Fishing times app
Hey guys,
i have this app that rates each day of fishing based on the moon cycle and based on the app this week is supposed to be a disappointment. I know each day on the water is different but how many of you guys actually base your fishing days off the moon cycle and is there any validity to it besides a full or new moon.

I just go fish mostly, I do know that moon phase, barometric pressure etc. play a part in the bite. Take this afternoon for example, I left work a little early and made a few stops and my local bank spots and absolutely slayed some fish. Didn't catch but a few keeper crappie but could not keep the bass, catfish and all the others off my minners. This was from 1pm until 5pm not even prime fishing hours. So I'm sure there is something to it, but is it going to keep me off the water or out of the woods? No sir.. I enjoy it too much and take the good with the bad. I do know a few that base there outings on these apps.. I'm just not one of them.

Fishing times app
I'm don't think the fish use an app to eat. Just go fishing. I never look at that junk.
If an app says it's going to be a bad day, I think it affects the way you think. It starts your day out with a negative expectation, and it gives you an excuse if you don't catch fish.
