I have finally ordered my hummingbird 899si. I asked before but I can't find the answers, is the transducer that comes with it good for the transom mount or should I exchange

Yes, do not open the plastic bags around your mounting hardware, you will have send in the transducer along with the mounting hardware. This is the one your looking for Humminbird XHS 9 HDSI 180 T -.
Call them and talk to them about how to do the exchange.

Here is the exchange information. It will cost you whatever postage to get it there and $85.00 for the transducer exchange. You have to first call them and they will tell you what to do from there. 1-800-633-1468
