Patoka Sunday

Found water temps 44. Most crappie suspended in front of coves with a very few near the back of coves. Spent time fine tuning electronics and searching for schools. I did pull some jigs for an hour and caught two dinks before going home to watch IU.
Went to Illinois Monday and Tuesday to try a private club lake. Monday was slow. Tuesday water temps hit 48 and the crappie went crazy. We were slow rolling grubs around down trees in 12 fow with fish sitting at 3-4 feet. Dark colors worked best. We both got our limit of 10 to 13 inch fish. Wind was bad but the crappie didn't care.

Thanks for the report. One thing that might help you in the future is to watch Purdue instead! Haha
