Do y'all make the batteries in a series in the back and just use 1 battery for electronics or do y'all use cranking battery for electronics?
Two battery for the trolling motor and then one more cranking battery separately.
Lectronics on the cranking batt, jump cabels in the boat too but never seem to have a problem.
I know how many I need, but which battery is everyone using for electronics? Pulling off one of the trolling motor batteries or the cranking
Only thing on trolling batterys should just be trolling motor.....electronics and everything else should be on cranking battery.
Trolling motor batteries run trolling motor only. Cranking battery handled everything else. If you have room for 4 batteries, use 2 for TM, 1 to crank, and one for everything else.
3 Trojan 1275 golf cart batteries for the Terrova, dedicated series 29 for electronics and dedicated series 31 for engine and console (aerators, bilge pump etc).
Like Rees said, I don't leave the ramp without a set of jumper cables.
Figure the 24V or 36Vs that feed a TM battery system would play havoc on Electronics
Hook your electrics to your cranking battery. Like said, only run troll motor on trolling batts.
