You gonna love it!!!
You will love it...I have one with dual beam sonar...DI...and GPS and I really like it
make sure you leave a map page not hidden because you must be on a map page to see waypoints . I about went crazy till I figured it out .I had the si unit and spent hours playing with it . then I sold the boat lol . went back to lowrance . Found a great deal or would have went back to si unit on back and di on front .
Armyman; I know how you feel I just got me a Humminbird 899ci hd si unit. Which was a big upgrade from the grayscale units I had. Watch youtube and you will find out a lot of information on your new unit. Youtube will show you everything from installing the transducer to how to tune and fine tune your new Helix unit. Don't be afraid of the adjustments because you can always go back to the default factory setting and start over again like I did several times last week. Will be looking forward to some good di pictures and fish pictures. Good Luck.
Yep, that some good equipment there. Know you'll like it.
First if you have not read the manual it is good to do so then most thing that are talked about will make more sense.

Now if you have read and seen all this and need to know something else just ask the question. People here on CDC are very good to help others with questions.
Thanks for all the info, scrat. Looks I got plenty of time to learn some things before I can get on the water and play with it!
