Went out saturday morning for a fishing trip with my dad, we ended up catching 24 throughout the day all good sized. Water temp was 52-53 degrees and caught them all around 3-4 foot deep spread rigging. Hoping to get after them this weekend if the rain doesn't mess everything up. Grilled some on the half shell tonight unfortunately I'm on a diet and can't fry them up but they still tasted good!
They look good enough to eat for sure.
It's about time mallard is coming back. Very nice fish and meal.

Good report and photo . Looks like you got to enjoy that catch twice . Nothing like fresh fried Crappie . Too bad this rain going to mess it up all over the place .
