Managed to slip out of work early Friday so we decided to camp out after fishing the afternoon. Hit the water early Saturday and fished until noon. Had a great time and caught some nice fish. Had several fish throw up some decent size shad, they are certainly prepping for the spawn! The fish finder showed 55 degrees Friday evening in one creek but it was back to 51 Saturday morning. It won't be long!

Nothing better than a camping fishfry. We learned to do our frying before dark when big things started flying around the light and you can't tell WHAT just hit the grease! Man, those filets look great!

Great catch....Seems like I have better luck at Jordan than I have had in the past at Harris...
I will give Harris a couple more try's then Jordan bound. I guess thats why they call it fishing you don't always catchem.....
